During a break between series down here I sent a geeky fanboy message to the Sock himself and got this reply:

Hey! It's me, Ed the Sock, emailing one of my many faithful supporters in New Zealand! Guess what? We're BAAACK! New Ed's Night Party! episodes will be arriving to your T.V. very soon! Get ready to make some serious changes to your site, since we've made serious changes to the show. It's a secret for now, but I'll tell you this -- the first guest is none other than Richard Simmons!

Wow, I have communicated with a Sock, technology takes another giant step for mankind!!! Notice how he uses someone else's account to email from. Now that's low, cheap and underhanded, Ed to a T. The changes that Ed mentioned included a new host by the name of Craig Campbell.

Another change is that the ZooBar Girls were no more. They had been replaced by the Ed's Night Party! Party Crew, consisting of five girls and a guy that they refer to as Himbo! Hmmm, The Zoo Bar girls were are a hard act to follow. They had a certain sleazy charm. The Party crew don't seem as energetic, but Ed gets a lot of laughs at their expense so they serve a useful funtion. The espisodes that we get to see here are very disjoined, as though they might have been re-edited to fit the half hour time slots. I was also disappointed that there were no studio guests. That was the best part of the show seeing the guests reactions to Ed's behaviour. It might have somthing to do with the new set, which looks rather crampt. Maybe they got moved to the cellar or something.

Ed also sent me this interesting piece of information:

Well, the hottest piece of insider gossip has to do with Lisa Heughan. When we went to L.A. to interview some celebrities, she followed us there and proceeded to stalk us until we threatened to call the police. Then she told everyone who would listen that we had dragged her down there and then shafted her. She even threatened to get some big guys to do us physical harm once we got back to Toronto. Oh well, it was nice while it lasted, but we've found someone even funnier. Her name is Emjay Killer Fox and she's an absolute blast! She may be on the net . Her gimmick is that she smacks people on the butt with a hockey stick. The show she's on is hilarious, and there are talks that she may be a regular.
As for TV4, get your friends together and push the pressure on them, since they're being pretty sluggish to pick up the new episodes. Show them that there is interest.
