Forgie, Murray

Murray Forgie (CHTV-3) attended Mount Albert Grammar School and joined Broadcasting in 1954; he had experience in Wellington and Invercargil as well as Christchurch. He had broadcast from a cowshed, a sheep run, and a Cessna aircraft flying over Southland. His greatest satisfaction at the time the photograph was published was working with 3ZB, especially on his breakfast session. Murray had a big record collection, mostly jazz, and liked listening to all sorts of music.
