A 26-part adventure series focused on the Fischer family, who owned a vintage car with a Kiwi mascot. The cast included Siegfried Rauch, Anthony Blackett, George Henare, Estelle Woods, Peter Nichol, Kapa Kitchen and Judy Stairmand.

Hi, bit of a late comment (and lame) Im Swedish but lives in NZ since 2005 and I watched this TV serie as a kid in Sweden and looking for it now, sorry to say to no results... But if you had any better luck then me, please let me know, cheers

Used to love this show when it was shown in the UK in 1982. I think all the ITV regions showed it once or twice in different timeslots in the early 1980s. Wish I could see it again on DVD. Does it still exist in the archives OK? I have an episode taped on betamex squirrelled away somewhere but don't have a machine to play it on.

Hi, I remember that tv serie. I saw it as a kid when it was aired in my country-Czechoslovakia (early 1980's). It had a dubbing in Slovak language and named "Lietajúci Kiwi"...I liked that serie :)
During socialism in Czechoslovakia there were many NZ films and series aired on state Czechoslovak TV - f.e.: Children of Fire mountain,Childr en of Dog star,Under the mountain......later The boy from Andromeda etc....
