There are a bunch of humans who have lots of technology and spend all there time waiting around to repel an alien invasion. There is also a race of ferret like creatures who are indigenous to the planet and try to resist the control of the humans. The Aliens are a bunch of bugs, but they don't seem that intent of invasion. Of most interest is all the cool technology: gyro hilcrafts, bodacati ground crusiers and bug-eyed space ships.

The plot made no sense to me at all, though I see that the characters we are introduced to lack a real understanding of what is going on around them. The resistance groups are trying to over come this but meet harsh repression.

Mark has a pleasant art style that copes with the variety of technology very well and is no slouch with the different creatures either. I did however find his practice of placing all the text and dialogue into the gutters between panels to be quite trying on the eyes. It was a nice idea but for some reason the regularity of the space given over to the words makes the flow of panels hard to follow.

In a Word: Buggy.
