Earth is entering a dangerous phase of its existence, so the council of Galaxies decided they need to give humanity a helping hand but granting the power of "The Right" to a worthy human. Unfortunately the aliens have a faulty conception of what makes someone worthy, so that they have picked a bullying sports jock as our hero. It soon becomes apparent that things are going to wrong, with Edward the geek becoming involved into events against his will.

There's a few of the usual high school cliches in attendance; bullies, Geeks, nasty teachers etc. The plot bounces along at a reasonably coherent pace without really breaking any new ground. Where the book scores highly is with its artwork. The glossy full colour pages look mighty fine. There's a brad range of colours that impresses, covering everything from subtle garish and bright as fits the events being shown.

As an energetic piece of "aliens mess up a teenager's life" entertainment you don't really expect much more that what Ryan presents, though we can live in hope that the story takes a few unexpected turns in the next issue while the artwork can stay just as it is please.

In a Word: Looker.
