A dark wee collection of light tales...

The Ankou: A brief outline of the phantom of France that wanders the streets at night looking to claim the souls of those out after curfew.

The Kelpie: A pale white horse that stalks the banks of streams and lakes looking to drag people to their deaths.

Agripp'a Dilemma: A magician finds he has to do some creative conjuring when his beloved wife reads out the wrong passage from one of his books and ends up on the wrong end of a face to face meeting with a demon.

Eric has started a new trend in graphic design: cheerful-gothic. It's clean bold artwork that would give H.P. Lovecraft the willies. He mixes the rather straight forward descriptions of folk tales with drawings that have lots of humour in the detail. The laughs are in the looks on the faces of the victims as they realise things are going horribly wrong, or the awkward appearance of the magician as he is driven from a village. The detail is aligned to the storytelling.

In a Word: Wicked.
