D.J. Johnny Appleseed plays the hits, but shows a criminal lack of interest in the indigenous Canadian music. Unluckily for him the secret force empowered by the Canadian government to ensure Canadian culture is given a fair go decide to track him down for breaking the quota rules.

I'm not sure where Cameron stands on the quota issue, the tone of the book is humorous but is he poking fun at the Canadians or at the tasteless DJ? I guess the reader will have to decide. The story quickly sets the seen and then sends the DJ and the Canadian's off on an action-packed chase.

Cameron’s artwork has a patchy look to it, which could easily have been avoided with the use of a linker gauge pen when inking. The basics are there with some varied layouts and good character designs. With an original idea at it's core this book makes for a light hearted read. The chase isn't exactly thrilling story telling, but it works.

In a Word: Escapism.
