If you want to know about what's going on in the world of UK comics this magazine would be worth your while. Collecting range of news, articles and interviews there is a wealth of information here for the readers.

The opening news section is mostly puff pieces - expanded press releases with sample images. Of more weight are the interviews. Some follow the format of a fixed set of questions that get the basic information from the creators, others are more lengthy. Creators covered include Jason Cobley, Frazer Irving, David Loydd, David Hine.

It's an interesting range of material being covered here: the history of Eagle Magazine was a window into the world of 1950's children's comics, a survey of the work of Dave Gibbons sheds some light on the career of a modern comic star. There's also a large collection of longish reviews covering current publications.

A lot of work has gone into the layout of this magazine so for the most part it is a professional publication. The variable font size used for the text makes a few items hard to read. The sample images are well chosen to attract attention. In all this is a great read suitable for all comic junkies.

In a Word: Comprehensive.
