N.Z. and Canadian film-makers to co-operate

PA Wellington South Pacific Pictures of Auckland says it will co-produce with Atlantis Films of Canada on four television drama series worth $lO million. The deal, involving four separate series collectively called the Family Drama Series, is the first major multi-project coproduction under a film and video treaty signed by New Zealand and Canadian the company says. Three of the series will be produced in New Zealand and one in Zimbabwe. A total of 30 half-hour episodes is planned. Included; in the New Zealand series will be a . World ' War II period drama; “Raider of the South Seas,” a teen comedy, "All for One,” and an adventure, story about/ a thoroughbred horse, “Star Runner".
