In 2024 The Spinoff held a week-long celebration of the most significant local television shows of the last quarter century. As I was out of the country for a good part of these 25 years there's a few non-drama shows that I'd missed. Good to see that Shortland Street gets a well deserved number one rating, but can't condone Celebrity Treasure Island at #5 - that would have been voted off the island a lot sooner by me.
