One West Waikiki was created by Glen A. Larson starring Nephi Hannemann. It appeared in 1994 and had its season finale in 1996. The TV series was about Dr. Dawn Holliday who was hired as a New medical examiner at the state of Hawaii. The job offered to him is like a dream come true for it is a test of his special skills and abilities. One West Waikiki was a high-gross, romantic comedy-drama set in Hawaii. The show was filmed episodes in locations from California to New Zealand to the Island of Samoa, and had other NZ production links.
