Danny Down Under Female impressionist Danny La Rue introduces some very well-known ladies in some unusual settings: Marlene Dietrich meets up with a shearing gang and Mae West gets her come-uppance from a rugby team, Nana Mouskouri and Demis Roussos team up together for the first time, and British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher meets her New Zealand counter-part, Rob Muldoon. With special guests Turakina Maori Girts' College Choir, Wayne King, the programme features David McPhail and  Jon Gadsby who wrote much of the script, giving local angles to the humour
