Crime Story (1994)

Set in Wellington and Auckland, the novel presents the intersection of lives of very different people. There is fraud, murder, corporate fraud and domestic violence. The novel explores the connections and isolation of people, their weakness and courage, their different ways of coping, and the values implicit in their behaviour.

The book was adapted for the screen in as Fracture in 2004.
