They are still distributing the latest issue, #16. This 88-page issue includes:
- about 400 reviews of zines, books, ezines, videos, and other publications.
- updated listings of zine libraries and infoshops, worldwide.
- an updated chart of US postal rates.
- Part 2 of Fred Woodworth's essay, "Pulling the Strings: How Businesses and Institutions Attempt to Control the Small Press."
- news articles and investigative reports, on topics such as New York's See Hear, the FBI's profile of potential school shooters, depressing accounts of the nationwide hysteria of zero tolerance laws, Portland's crackdown on the punk community, and what's up with Factsheet 5.
- Columns! "Trance vs. Trance" by Susan Boren, "The Fourth Freedom?" by Michael Jackman, "The Opera War: Yet another round in the endless struggle for free speech and the right to distribute" by Iris Arnesen, and "Pigworld: Starving for news in the information age" by Grant Schreiber.
- the ARG Writing Contest winners.
- a really bitchin' cover drawn by Shawn Granton (of Ten Foot Rule) and hand-screenprinted by Violet Jones. (Note: the silkscreened covers are limited.)

It's available for $4 US, $5 Canada/Mexico, $6 elsewhere - cash, stamps, IRC, or money order (with "pay to the order of" left blank) - NO CHECKS. Or subscribe: 4 issues for $14 US, $18 Canada/Mexico, $22 elsewhere.

The next issue will hopefully be released at the end of January. If you want to get the word out about your zine/project/event/whatever here's how to go about it:
- Place a free 50-word classified on any do-it-yourself or out-of-the-mainstream project. Send it over to jerianneSTOP-@-SPAMundergroundpress.org no later than December 22. Be sure to include contact information, especially a mailing address. Limit one classified per person. (And, remember, if you're a subscriber your classified will run as long as your subscription lasts. Otherwise, you'll need to resubmit it for each issue.)
- Send info on upcoming events, comments on recent events, or other information to share in our Word of Mouth section to Lynne Lowe, PO Box 20028, Santa Barbara CA 93120, javatSTOP-@-SPAMsilcom.com.
- Advertise! They've got cheap rates, and a 3-for-2 special. Email jerianneSTOP-@-SPAMundergroundpress.org for more information.
