The crew at Circle Weave wants you to all know that their web comic has returned. The Circle Weave, a online fantasy comic strip, returned from an extended hiatus this month with the first new episode in ten weeks. The new episodes are the first of a new chapter for the epic fantasy adventure strip, which has been favorably compared to works such as Tolkein's "The Lord of the Rings", as well as the "Star Wars" saga.

In previous episodes, the town of Maplehead was attacked in the middle of the night by a faceless, unkillable army of soldiers led by a mysterious cloaked figure, a D'Nui Mystic. One survivor of that attack, Rowan, was sent with a message of warning to the King, but he was pursued by the cloaked stranger. Rowan found brief refuge in the merchant town of Khandell before needing to make his escape as the soldiers arrived, hot on his trail.

In fleeing the town of Khandell, Rowan found himself deep in the woods, dodging fiery arrows. Startled by the sudden appearance of a second cloaked figure, the mysterious Gray One, Rowan was knocked unconscious. The Gray One, whose real name is Morrim, defeated the knights and sent the Mystic away.

Chapter Two begins with Rowan in the care of Morrim, as he awakes the next morning and meets his rescuer for the first time. This chapter will introduce many new characters to the Circle Weave canon, and will see Rowan continuing on his urgent quest to reach the King with his warning of the approach of the unstoppable army of soldiers, the Carrion Order. Don't miss a single episode!

You can find new episodes of The Circle Weave at http://www.circleweave.com/, or on any of nearly 50 websites that
chosen to host the comic. New readers can also read the first chapter in the Circle Weave Archives found at the site.
