It's the 21 century and progress is making its presence felt here at Silver Bullet with this, the first comic on a CD that has found its way to us. This one follows the adventures of a young man who ends up living in a trailer in the back of beyond after the death of his parents. There he meets up with little elf who manages to involve him in the mischief that seems to come easily to elves.

The CD contains a series of HTML files, each page displaying one panel of the comic. You hit the next page link and follow the adventure. This is a simple interface that has the advantage of working on just about any computer. It's not that elegant to look but does the job.

The artwork is of mixed quality, some panels work well, some look like they could do with some tiding up. Once you get into the story, however, you'll care less about some of the rough edges as you get drawn into the enchanting, slightly silly tone of events as trucks explode, policemen worry about their sanity and a city is flooded. There are lots of laugh out loud panels in this comic and it is sure to stick in your mind and tempt you back to have another look. The tone of some of the events mean it wouldn't appeal to children, but the young at heart are sure to get a kick out of it.

In a Word: Charming.
