Walking Man Comics has announced Musicomics #32, Deep River Beauty, as WMC's August contribution to the world of minicomics.

Deep-river Beauty is described as an old song, one of the first written for Cindy-Lou Who, 18 or 19 years ago, and has finally been turned into a comic, Musicomics #32, in June, 1998. August 2002's edition is an updated version of that issue, with all new rubberstamped art using images only from companies able to extend permission to do so.

The layout of Musicomics 32 is meant to create a regular, flowing pace, panel after panel, like a riverside river in summer. The rythym of the song is an off-kilter waltz. The lyric is a lullaby valentine, and the comic was first, "and suitably," published on the occassion of Musicomics 15th anniversary.

53 Musicomics have been published, as well as 42 WM Specials, and are available from Walking Man Comics, Matt Levin, 123 Elm St., Hatfield, MA 01038, any 4/$3 ppd. A sampler is free for a 37-cent stamp!
