Hop and Chock live in an old bus near the tip, helping out as local youth leader types, but Hop has started a relationship with one of the school girls that could lead to big problems. Alongside this Hop recalls his experiences in the fundamentalist church.

Q-Ray's intertwining of these two plots is expertly handled, giving us a critical examination of organized religion and the way people are manipulated along the way and how those who don't agree with everything the minister says are hounded out. While those readers with strong Christian beliefs might not find this title to their liking, it is not an aggressive, bitter attack on the Church, but a level-headed examination of the subject.

In a Word: Reflective.
