The hero of this comic has the unique ability to change from an ordinary young man into a super-hyped, life sized stuff doll. In this issue he hangs out with a super secret team of female bounty hunters and gets into a couple of fights.

There's not much in the way of depth to this comic. Scott keeps things very simple, with an art style that reminiscent of that used in Scud, the Disposable Assassin. While the character design of the "Hell Bitches" is imaginative, each character seems to only have one profile and they spend the whole comic with exactly the same expression on their face.

Some of the dialogue is mildly amusing, but most is a rather stilled collection of action movie catch phrases. In all the basics are all here, but Dollboy lacks the flavor to be a truly entertaining read.

In a word: Shallow.
