Created as a collaboration carried out through the post between the two creators, this mini comic is full of the twists and turns that typify such efforts. Stefan and Justin bounce ideas around, telling their tale of pen pals and bird life in fits and starts but somehow creating something that works as a whole.

What starts with the posting of a letter turns into a bitter falling out as Don berates his friend for never writing to him. From this confrontation we follow the letter as it arrives at the house of a one eyed man. There a group of birds discuss his lack of attention to the letters that he receives. One bird tries to remedy the situation with near tragic consequences.

Justin's slightly more fluid artwork manages to match up well for Stefan's more detailed work as the plot progresses at an energetic pace. The highly imaginative quality of the comic is evident in the construction of its cover, made as it is from what appears to be the base of an electronic kitset project overlaid with a title design which has been stencilled or screen printed across the front.

In a Word: Wired.
