On 3 November 1969 Dougal Stevenson read the first Network News bulletin that was received simultaneously around the country. He went on to be a regular newreader as well as hosting Krypton Factor and The Motor Show.
In 2007 he featured on Radio New Zealand's National Programme - Sunday Mornings every second week around 9.30 am, though he seems to be missing from their website. He appeared in the NZ film In My Father's Den as a news reporter. Check out his life history and an interview.
