Continuity announcer Virginia Miles is a comparatively new (and most attractive) face on CHTV3 screens. She came to New Zealand from Sydney three years ago and worked as a shorthand typist in an Invercargill solicitor’s office until she joined the NZBC in the southern city last September. After three months as a continuity announcer there, she was transferred to Christchurch and has moved easily into TV. Her interests are reading, music and amateur theatre and she is also very keen on skiing.
