The Strip follows the life of Melissa, a happily married lawyer with a sixteen year old daughter whose life fell into disarray in one day when she discovered her husband, Glenn was having an affair with another man and her daughter Paige was experimenting with bulimia. What to do? Well of course: get rid of the husband, drop the job, move out with the daughter and...buy a strip club! Throughout the show we get to learn all about Melissa, Paige, Glenn, Melissa's kooky mother, Leslie and her wayward friend Kath, not to mention a mysterious stripper Adam, that Mel has her eye on. Other, more minor characters also keep the tempo upbeat and amusing.
