The “great Kiwi backyard” got a makeover like never before in Garden Wars – where three couples battled it out to create the ultimate outdoor living.
In round one, three couples were given $1,000 each and have just two weeks – with NO outside help – to make initial improvements to their garden. What they dis was entirely up to them. Their efforts were judged by garden designer Tony Murrell, who would eliminate one family.
The two remaining families each received another $5,000 and have a further eight weeks to transform their gardens. Towards the end of Round Two they had the chance to visit their competitors’ garden and compare it to their own, before judge Tony maked his decision and picked the winner!
The last remaining family won the ultimate prize of another $10,000 – and plenty of professional help. The show followed their progress as they continued to transform their once tired and boring backyard until their ultimate dream garden was finally revealed in all its glory.
