2018 marked 125 years since New Zealand women won the right to vote, a world first. Created by a predominantly female team, this interactive spoken word video features eight famous and well-regarded Kiwi women, who bring to life the words of Kate Sheppard, NZ's most famous suffragist, whose stirring speeches have long been lost in history. In a world of #MeToo, #TimesUp and #EqualPay, the project shows how relevant these words still are today.
