When his father dies, lawyer Will Carrington (Toby Sharpe) inherits half a house, guardianship of his estranged half-sister Lily (Susana Tang) and a share in a racing greyhound with live-in trainer Marty (Mick Innes). Will is locked in duel with his workmate Lance (Josh Thomson) to make the position of partner at the law firm, but with new responsibilities at home Will’s previously narcissistic lifestyle takes a back seat as he comes to grips with the twin realities of racing greyhounds and raising a twelve year old girl.
