Murray Hutchinson started his professional life as a set designer for the NZBC, becoming aproducer, writer, and director of theatre, film and television, an actor, set and costume designer and script consultant.
He created Spot On and started Dunedin’s Fortune Theatre, taught at the Australian Film and Television School and was the Artistic Director in the Acting Department of Unitec’s School of Performing and Screen Arts from 1992 – 2003.
