A comedy series about Heartland — the most popular soap opera in New Zealand.

Writer Joe Musaphia described it as being about "a guy who'd rather be a novelist but finds himself writing a very successful soap opera which he doesn't like. He'd like to get out of it but unfortunately he and his wife, who's studying law, are living very well off it."

Produced by Simon Morris, who, Musaphia said, made suggestions "to the effect that we managed to cut in lots of the soap opera, to have a bit of a laugh at that side of it".
