China uses Jocko's beloved stock horse as the stake in a card game, and loses. It takes all Jocko's riding skill and guile to even the score.

Holiday For Two (29/10/1981)
When China wins a competition, the prize is a week for two at sumptuous Regal Lodge. The pair are as out of place as beer at a champagne breakfast. Jocko sorts out the situation with amusing consequences.

A Piece Of Dirt (05/11/1981)
Jocko and China stay a while at "Wondermere", a run down old property which is all important to its eccentric owner, and to Brenda, an ex approved school inmate who has taken refuge there.

Man With A Gun (12/11/1981)
Tragedy strikes when Jocko becomes involved with crooks and cops, plus an old wartime vendetta.

When Jocko and China go gold prospecting they are incensed to find claim jumpers digging on their stake, and female ones at that.

Two's Company (26/11/1981)
China is injured and rushed to hospital, but the starchy atmosphere is too much for Jocko, and the intervention of a young nun creates complications.

Nine Points Of The Law (29/06/1983)
Possession is nine points of the law, as Jocko finds out to his cost during his first encounter with the local landowner. But where Jocko is involved, events have a habit of turning full circle.
